Lock View Holidays is part of the Canal Boat Project, a charitable organisation that is registered with the charity commission to provide boating activities for people with difficulties, disabilities or community groups. At least one of the users in your party, therefore, must have a difficulty or disability or the hirer must be a community group.

To help you know if you qualify some of our previous groups include Harlow Stroke Club, Jewish Care, League of Friends of Chelmsford Community Support, Islington Childrens Fund and Harlow and District Blind Club. Health & Safety

Please note for health and safety reasons we have strict numbers of people who can use our boats and for cruising there must be at least three able bodied people on board.
